
Meet Chef Amy Baer
Chef Amy’s culinary style features flavors of the Mediterranean with a splash of California-Coastal cuisine. She loves the traditions of the old world, and thrives on implementing modern techniques and creating personalized menus that enlighten her guests. Her credentials include cooking in some of Southern California’s finest kitchens including Felix under Chef Evan Funke, Les Petites Canailles in Paso Robles, Industrial Eats under the late Jeff Olson, TRUST with Chef Justin Werner in Santa Ana, and with Wolfgang Puck’s team for the 92nd Oscars. Before becoming a private chef, Amy worked as a film composer, contributing to major motion pictures like Spotlight, Hugo, The Hobbit Trilogy, and The Lord of the Rings (Concert Works). After moving to Santa Barbara, she soon realized her passion for creating incredible food and sharing that joy with others was her ultimate calling in life. The connection to musical storytelling now inspires the vibrant narratives she creates through her cuisine.
